Today in class we continued watching the movie. I am really enjoying it even though it's sad and scary to watch sometimes. I'm very confused on what the gameshow part of the movie has to do with anything, but I might be figuring it out a little bit. I'm understanding that there are two brothers and a girl who are orphans and they have to make it in the world on their own. It's amazing to see how independent and clever these children are. They really know how to make a little cash doing almost anything. It's also amazing to see how different their culture is from ours, especially the things they do in the police department to get answers. The people get tortured by dunking their head in water, electrocuting their bodies, and many other cruel ways.
