Today in human geo John came back so we caught him up on what we've been talking about. It was cool to talk about North Korea with John because he can share things about South Korea and relate it to what we're talking about. We also finished watching the documentary which was crazy. It's amazing and kind of scary to see how North Korean culture completely brainwashes everyone into loving the dear leader and thinking he can do no wrong. That was shown when the healed blind people uncovered their eyes. Instead of thanking the doctors which I thought was the normal and obvious thing to do, they went to the picture of their dear leader and praised him very enthusiastically. I don't even see how he helped in any of this and I don't think he did. North Korea seems like a terrible place to live and it makes me thankful for living in the U.S.
