Today in human geo we watched a documentary about North Korea. There was a medical team that went to North Korea with one american so they could preform and document eye surgeries for the blind. North Korea is a place with very poor health and conditions for people of all ages. Almost everyone is malnourished and many are close to death. The doctors preform cataract surgery which is very simple and really no doctors in North Korea can do it due to their lack of knowledge. It was really cool to see how different they are from America but really sad to see the children with that were starving or dying.
