Today in class we learned some more about the politics, culture, and population of different countries by navigating through the World Factbook. We learned how to find the country we want to learn about and locate the categories of which we can see all the different factors of the lives in that country. I also got my test back today. I was pretty happy with my grade (mostly because I got the bell to ring because of my A). Mr. Schick talked about nuclear bombing too, which was kind of scary to learn about. He told us how he would have drill when he was a kid, and he would have to hide in the school basement with his whole school. We even got to watch a video on how people took shelter for these kind of nuclear events in the olden days. It was kind of funny to watch now because we have more knowledge and we know that hiding under tablecloths won't save us.
